Responsibilities
*Participate in the design and coding of some engine function modules.
*Quality and test-driven development: Responsible for setting up and maintaining engine unit tests and integration tests (GoogleTest); drive and ensure the robustness and code quality of new functional modules by writing test cases.
*Participate in the design, implementation and documentation of the engine's C++ API; improve the stability and usability of interfaces from both developer and user perspectives.
*Maintain and optimize engine-related automation tools (e.g., model conversion, build scripts) and cross-platform build systems (CMake); handle cross-platform compatibility issues and improve the overall development efficiency of the team.
Requirements
*C++ : Proficient in C++17, familiar with C++20, and have experience using common C++ libraries (e.g., Boost, fmtlib).
*Python: Able to independently use Python to write robust scripts for automated testing, model processing and toolchain development.
* Deep optimization capability:Deep understanding of hardware such as processors and graphics cards; the ability to review the white papers of Intel and AMD processors, understand how each assembly instruction is processed internally, and grasp the number and types of instructions that each processor model can handle simultaneously.
*Cross-platform experience: Have desktop cross-platform development experience (Win/macOS/Linux); able to independently solve problems caused by platform differences such as different OS, CPU architectures, or compilers
*Engineering capabilities: Skilled in CMake build system and GoogleTest framework, with high standards for code quality.
*Learning ability: Excellent learning ability, able to quickly understand related technology stacks such as AI, DSP, and GUI
Preferred
*Experience in audio digital signal processing (DSP) or AI model deployment (PyTorch, ONNX, CoreML)
*Experience using other common programming languages (e.g., Rust, Javascript)
*Familiar with performance analysis tools (e.g., VTune, Instruments, perf) or GPU computing APIs (e.g., DirectML, CUDA)
*Mobile development experience (Android/iOS)
*Familiar with CPU microarchitecture differences and have experience using x64 and ARM64 assembly languages
*Development experience with the JUCE framework
