岗位职责:

Scope of Job: Developing and implementing sales strategies for the day trip market, particularly focusing on OTAs, TAs, educational and hotel partners. Analyzing market trends and competitor activities and devising effective sales plans and campaigns.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners in the respective market. Leading, mentoring, and motivating a sales team to achieve set objectives, including conducting performance reviews and providing training. Regularly reporting on sales performance, market trends, and strategic opportunities to the Marketing & Sales Director and other stakeholders.
Working closely with Digital, Brand, PR& Social Content, and Revenue team to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer experience.

Main Responsibilities

1. Operations

- Focused on identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with OTAs, tour and travel operators, and educational institutions in day trip market. This includes seeking opportunities for collaboration that align with the resort's goals.
- Establishing clear objectives for market penetration and growth, focusing on China mainland market (excluding Shanghai, Jiaxing and Suzhou) and oversea market. This involves identifying potential clients or partners, initiating contact, developing tailored action plans, and overseeing the negotiation and finalization of agreements.
- Ensuring that all operations and strategies are in sync with the broader trade strategies and guidelines. This requires staying updated with the overarching goals and adapting local strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with marketing & sales director in participating in relevant industry events, such as trade shows, seminars, and product launches. Representing LEGOLAND® in these forums to build a strong network of business contacts, while promoting the resort and staying informed about industry trends and opportunities.

2. Sales

- Collaborate with the marketing & sales director to create comprehensive day trip market strategy and sales plans. This includes formulating and implementing a strategic sales plan targeting OTAs, tour and travel, educational operators, corporate and hotel partners.
- Work in close partnership with the marketing & sales director to develop and execute sales strategies. This involves setting objectives, defining budgets, determining staffing needs, and overseeing the execution of sales program activities.
- Oversee the cost tracking, scheduling, and implementation of sales programs in day trip market. This responsibility includes tracking the effectiveness of these programs in increasing attendance to the park and hotel.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local hotels, tour and travel organizations.
- Work cooperatively with the Digital, Brand, PR& Social content, Revenue, and Sales departments to coordinate efforts and build synergy.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.

3. Financial

- Ensuring the achievement of financial and budgetary targets, including the performance of strategic alliance contract commitments.
- Initiating and driving action plans to increase trade yield in alignment with the resort's business needs.
- Coordinating the details of various programs across multiple functions and individuals within the organization.
- Negotiating promotional agreements with Trade Partners, including terms and conditions, to ensure mutual benefit and compliance.
- Ensuring that all contracts with partners are properly approved and executed in accordance with organizational policies and legal standards.

4. Development

- Conducting thorough research and analysis of sales-related activities in the industry, especially concerning theme park and hotel offerings, developments in OTAs, and trends in tour, travel, and educational/corporate alliances. This involves identifying industry trends and making recommendations for market approach adjustments.
- Providing insights for the development of both the park and hotel products to capitalize on trade opportunities.
- Assist marketing & sales director to evaluate front-end and back-end sales activities and conducting competitive analyses with other theme parks, particularly regarding their product mix and pricing strategies.
- Utilizing research findings to inform decision-making, make presentations, and assist in setting or adjusting targets and action plans.
- Developing and negotiating with third-party hotels or hotel groups for the LEGOLAND® Shanghai Resort Bed and Breakfast Program, targeting both digital and trade sales platforms.

5. People

- Ensuring the day trip market sales team, which includes a Sales Executive and Sales Representative, is highly skilled and motivated to meet sales targets.
- Aligning staff and resources to achieve objectives, coordinating activities, and utilizing both internal and external resources effectively.
- Building a network with counterparts in the attractions and entertainment industry to foster professional growth and opportunity.
- Overseeing the management of team members, responsible for hiring, training, development, performance management, and fostering a strong team environment.

6. Health & Safety

You are responsible for implementing LLSHR’s HSS Policy, management system and related standards.
Within the area of management responsibility, you must:
 Show clear leadership and commitment to HSS; this includes setting a good personal example.
 Develop plans that are consistent with the HSS strategy to carry out risk assessments and meet relevant standards, legal requirements and LLSHR’s HSS targets and objectives.
 Take the necessary practical steps to implement the HSS management system, including:
 Providing suitable resources and training
 Defining specific roles and responsibilities
 Explaining HSS issues effectively
 Establishing operational controls
 Managing contractors effectively
 Organising emergency response arrangements
 Implement measures to monitor HSS performance and, where necessary, take corrective action. This includes audits, performance monitoring, and reporting / investigating incidents.
 Ensure that HSS decisions are consistent with LLSHR’s HSS Policy.
 Consider HSS issues in business decisions and explain their importance.
 Support promotional campaigns and educational plans.
 Recognise and reward employees who show positive HSS behaviour and achieve HSS objectives.
 Discuss HSS issues regularly.
 Encourage employees to suggest measures to improve HSS performance, and follow these up.
 Ensure that employees who blatantly or repeatedly violate HSS standards, procedures and rules are disciplined appropriately.
 Challenge unsafe conditions or actions and work with those involved to agree the necessary safety improvements.
 Provide ready access to skilled HSS professionals and / or accurate HSS advice.

Requirements
• Experience in a relevant industry such as theme parks, hotels, resorts, attractions or leading digital platforms is desirable.
• At least 3 years of sales management experience, demonstrating successful personnel leadership and sales achievements.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, track record of managing and leading a team of 3+ people.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in roles covering marketing, sales, and budget responsibilities.
• Evidence of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with effective collaboration skills.
• Track record of success developing and implementing operational and tactical sales plans
• Ability to set and manage against objectives and schedules, and effectively plan and manage resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence others.
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
