l Act as the first point of contact for commercial leadership, supporting business operations, management decisions, and strategic planning
l Serve as the finance representative on the Business Unit leadership team, contributing strategic financial insights to guide decision-making and drive business performance.
l Provide financial guidance on commercial initiatives, including product launches, and market expansion.
l Support to shape short to long-term growth opportunities and ensure strategic alignment across functions

2) Forecasting & Planning
l Lead Therapy-wise topline forecasting and budget planning processes (AB, RE, LE) covering full channels, ensuring cross functional alignment with business objectives
l Drive cross-functional alignment on therapy area resource allocation, ensuring investments are prioritised in line with business objectives and continuously optimised to support operational performance.
l Facilitate timely and transparent communication with key stakeholders throughout the planning process, ensuring feedback is actively sought and incorporated.
l Lead end-to-end P&L simulations for therapy area business cases, ensuring comprehensive financial analysis and fostering cross-functional alignment on key assumptions and outcomes.
3) Performance management
l Deliver timely and insightful analysis of P&L performance, sales trends, and resource utilisation
l Track KPIs and provide variance analysis to support commercial excellence and operational efficiency.
l Analyse in-market performance to support accurate forecasting and phasing
l Establish quarterly cost targets for regions within the Business Unit, grounded in clear principles and closely aligned with BU leadership and evolving business priorities.
l Ensure accurate quarterly and full-year cost landing through robust cost tracking and proactive engagement with commercial teams.
4) Governance & Compliance
l Ensure transparency and control in commercial spending
l Support internal audits and compliance reviews related to commercial finance activities.
