What You Will Do:

· Conduct ship hull form optimization projects, and communicate with clients on the optimization results.

· Carry out research on hull form optimization methodologies.

· Develop tools or software of hull form optimizations.

· Support BD in pre-contract services and client engagement.

· Support ABS technical community on queries regarding hull form optimization.

· Maintain and demonstrate thought leadership through technical publications, conference presentations and panel discussions.

· Participate in industrial committees to development and enhance technical capabilities.

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience

· Minimum Master’s degree in CFD, Naval Architecture and other relevant disciplines; PhD in appropriate discipline preferred.

· Relevant experience in shipyard, design/consulting office, shipping/oil company, offshore energy company, university, or classification society

· Minimum 5-year relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Knowledge and experience in CFD and naval architecture

· Knowledge and experience in ship hull form design

· Demonstrated experience in the hull form evaluation and optimization

· Real-ship design, tank test and sea trial experience will be preferred

· Excellent technical, interpersonal, communication, and writing skills in English
