Job Summary: This role will be responsible for Management and overseeing the sales strategy, business development, and operations related to Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) within the China region. The role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market in China, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for API products in the Chinese market.

Provide strategic direction and guidance to the sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.

Identify new market opportunities and partnerships to drive business expansion.

Sales Management 销售管理:

Lead the sales team to achieve revenue targets and market share goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities. Overseeing sales targets and performance in the China market.

Market Intelligence 市场调查:

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics affecting the API’s sales landscape in China.

Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and competitive factors

Product Development Oversight 产品开发监管:

Working closely with the R&D and product development teams to align the product portfolio with market needs and regulatory requirements in China.

Regulatory Compliance 合规:

Ensuring that all business activities comply with relevant local

and international laws and regulations, particularly those related to pharmaceutical products and formulations.

Stakeholder Engagement 参与利益相关者:

Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare professionals, distributors, and suppliers in China.

Financial Management 财务管理:

Develop and manage the budget for the API sales department, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective actions

Business Development 商业拓展:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including the acquisition of new clients and partnerships.

Cultural and Linguistic Skills文化和语言技能:

Proficiency in Mandarin may be highly beneficial, along with an understanding of the business culture in China.

Willingness to travel frequently within China and possibly internationally. Actively

participating in industry conferences and events to network and stay updated on

market trends.

Reporting and Communication 报告和沟通:

Regularly reporting progress and challenges to senior management and effectively communicating with different teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

任职资格:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 本科或硕士学历,专业为商业、市场营销或相关领域。

Proven experience in API sales within the pharmaceutical industry, with a deep understanding of the Chinese market. 有丰富的医药行业API销售经验,对中国市场有深入的了解。
