CORE DUTIES

o To consolidate constraints from all aspects including technical, production, economic, safety, environmental etc. and to implement into the packaging design.
o To implement risk analysis during design stage, as well as execution of action plans.
o To provide optimization proposals of technical packaging designs with the consideration of production, cost, timing, quality, sustainability, and consumer centricity conditions.
o To compile technical documents for quotation (drawings, preliminary specifications, guidelines, etc.)
o To coordinate and execute approval of the products through various validation in accordance with the design quality system and to establish technical specifications.
o To control the various stages of the development schedule, alert risks accordingly and propose solutions.
o To identify, propose, and implement optimization and renewal on existing products (functionality, cost, perceived value, sustainability, quality, productivity, etc.)
o To evaluates/assess and develop with cross functional team and new external partners with good collaboration.
o To do trouble shooting and root cause analysis in the cases of quality issues.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or above with major in packaging or material science is preferred.
• 3+ years working experience in packaging development, experience in makeup product is preferred.
• Good communication skill with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Capable of reading 2D technical drawing.
• CPK knowledge and sense of quality assurance are preferred.
• Strong project management skill to master all milestones of product development.
• Quick learner. Proficient in logic thinking and self-motivation.
• Strong English communication skill, both oral and written.
• Flexibility for business trips.
