Key job accountabilities

Buyer manages several categories of skincare/makeup packaging components & contract manufacturing in North Asia .
1. Responsible for PM + CM sourcing of new launch, support and ensure launch to be on time with the right cost and with the mindset of Design-to-cost/Design-to-agility approach by leveraging external partners.
2. Responsible for driving cost saving projects to happen, collaborating with all related departments, and following, optimizing purchasing price.
3. Involved in the cross-zone communication with other sourcing zones such as Europe, USA.
4. Responsible for budget set-up, trend following and PPV controlling by systematic project management approach with the close engagement with all stakeholders.
5. Responsible for driving end-to-end value chain optimization with commercial and technical interventions.
6. Risk Assessment capabilities to anticipate the crisis to secure business by proactively leveraging external partners and internal stakeholders.
7. Able to lead the cross functional team to solve the urgent quality/supply chain issue.
Technical & Professional competencies required
1. Minimum +3 years of sourcing/purchasing or packaging experience in MNC, packaging material + contract manufacturing sourcing experience will be a plus.
2. Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferred fields go like Supply Chain, Business, Finance Engineering or Economics.
3. Good team player, excellent communication in English from both written and oral
4. Self-motivated attitude towards professionalism and capable to manage complexities.
5. Can-do attitude with positive mindsets, result-driven with problem solving skills, adapted with diversified working conditions.
