Operator (Dry bulk)

1. Execution of chartering contracts, which include voyage/TC contracts.

1. Ensuring that the voyages are performed in compliance with the relevant contracts with due consideration to the commercial strategy. To be responsible for maximizing profit for each voyage.
2. Responsible for following up on post fixture activities and day-to-day execution
3. Monitoring of vessel movements for executing of activities including bunker planning,appointment & coordination with agents and obtaining necessary
   documentations.
4. Responsible for the preparation, negotiation, and finalization of laytime calculations. To always think out of the box to maximize Dispatch and minimize the demurrage.
5. Handling of voyage accounts for the ships including hire payments, freight payments, SOA and settlement of final voyage account with ship owner.
6. Appointing agents,negotiating proforma D/A and reviewing/settling the final D/A documents.
7. Coordinating with the Legal and Insurance team to minimize risk and exposure. Ensuring that disputes and claims are settled in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Coordinating with account and commercial department on payments, BL collection, tallying of financial statement and following up of outstanding account with relevant parties.
9. Liaise with various parties like ship master, ship brokers, bunker trader, port agents, marine surveyor and other service providers on day-to-day operation matters to ensure all voyages are running smoothly.
10. Ensure compliance to relevant maritime laws, industry standards and insurance matters where appropriate.
11. Working as operations PIC to update vessels ocean and port schedules, solution providing to minimize delays / optimize smooth voyage performance.
12. Monitor vessel performance, analyze date and give regular feedback to Management.
13. Review the stowage plans prepared by the master, study vessel’s description and end up with conclusions to maximize cargo intake.
14. Drawing and finalizing charter parties.
15. To assist the chartering and operation manager as required.
16. Any other duties that might be assigned by the management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors' Degree from a recognized university.

1. Min two years of experience in dry bulk shipping industry with exposure to CP Terms negotiation and Laytime (Dry Bulk), as well as Bills of Lading and other
   shipping documentation.
2. Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong analytical and calculation skills.
3. Self-driven with strong willingness to learn, result oriented, with a positive outlook, and imagination to bring new ideas and solutions to the table.
4. Fast learner and able to work under pressure.
5. Has integrity when dealing with confidential matters.
6. Ability to negotiate with our business partners.
7. An ability to develop relationships with dry bulk counter parties, including owners, charterers,operators, charterers and brokers.
8. Team player with strong work ethics and excellent communication & organizational skills.

    散货船操作员职责：
    
    • 执行租船合同，包括航次租船/期租合同。
    • 确保航次执行符合相关合同规定，并充分考虑商业策略，负责实现每个航次的利润最大化。
    • 负责跟进合同签订后的各项活动及日常运营执行工作。
    • 监控船舶动态，以执行相关活动，包括燃油加注计划、指定及协调代理、以及获取必要单证。
    
    • 负责准备、协商并最终确定滞期/速遣费计算。始终以创新思维最大化速遣费，最小化滞期费。
    
    • 处理船舶的航次账目，包括支付租金、运费、结算单以及与船东结算最终航次账目。
    
    • 委托船舶代理，协商代理费预算并审核/结算最终代理费文件。
    
    • 与法务和保险团队协调，以降低风险和潜在损失。确保纠纷和索赔得到及时高效的处理。
    
    • 与财务和商务部门就付款、提单收集、财务报表核对以及与相关方跟进未结账目进行协调。
    
    • 与船长、船舶经纪人、燃油贸易商、港口代理、海事检验师及其他服务提供商等各方就日常运营事宜进行联络，确保所有航次顺利运行。
    
    • 确保在适用情况下遵守相关海事法律、行业标准及保险事宜。
    
    • 作为操作负责人，更新船舶在航和在港计划，提供解决方案以减少延误/优化航次执行效率。
    
    • 监控船舶运营表现，分析数据并向管理层定期反馈。
    
    • 审核船长准备的配载图，研究船舶说明文件，最终确定方案以实现载货量最大化。
    
    • 起草并最终确定租船合同。
    
    • 根据要求协助租船与运营经理开展工作。
    
    • 完成管理层交办的其他工作。

    • 拥有正规大学学士学位。
    
    • 至少两年干散货航运行业经验，熟悉租船合同条款谈判和滞期/速遣费（干散货），以及提单和其他航运单证处理。
