  Strategic focus
  In line with global CSI(cloud and server infrastructure) team, based on China, to provide 5* 15 support in 2 shifts on:  
  - Monitoring server and system healthy. Follow up the systerts to close.  
  - Monitoring server backup processes, follow up failure job and provide necessary restoration support.  
  - Server services related user requests fulfillment.  
  - Plan and user interruption to perform server patching follow schedule.
  
  
  Main responsibilities:
  *System monitoring and incident handling  
  - Follow up cloud and server monitoring to ensure availability, performance and security level.  
  - End-to-end ticket handling according to the incident management.  
  - Provide technical trouble shooting and resolutions for monitoring incidents.  
  - Work closely with user community to resolve service failure and minimize business impact, and suggest/implement improvements to increase resolution implementation efficiency.  
  - Implement technical changes to avoid and/or resolve incidents following the change management process
  
  *Server backup/restoration  
  - Monitor backup jobs to ensure backups are completed successful within the defined backup schedule.  
  - Follow up failed backup jobs, restart these jobs and/or troubleshoot the root cause and implement the fix/resolution.  
  - Backup integrity verification and restoration test to ensure backup data/system recoverable.  
  - Execute backup restores per user request.  
  - Ensure backup KPI’s can be reported for audit and process compliance reasons.  
  
  *User requests fulfilment  
  - Follow ticket handling process to handle user requests on cloud and server administration activities in line with the user requested timelines.  
  - Register troubleshooting activities and resolution information in the ticket system.  
  - Align requirements and business reasons with users to fulfil the requests according to expectations.  
  - Team collaboration to improve customer experience, knowledge base information and internal efficiency.  
  
  *System patching  
  - Communicate patching schedule with system owner in collaboration with the global Cloud and Server Infrastructure team .  
  - Execute patching in a controlled manner (for example Dev/Test environment before production rollout).  
  - Check patch status and take corrective actions within the patch maintenance windows  
  - Align with server owner on patch planning to minimize business impact.  
  - Follow patch schedule to deploy patches on various system follow agreed plan.  
  - Monitoring patching status, liaise with technical experts on issue handling, provide technical solution to be implemented within agreed time window.  
  
  *Keep expertise level up to date  
  - Assess and develop domain knowledge in line with IS global roadmap.  
  - Maintain an awareness of new IT technologies.
  
  
  Required profile:
  Education:  
  - Bachelor’s in computer science/information systems or equals.  
  - 6 years of experience in the fields of system administration, virtualization, database management, and system health monitoring.  
  - MCSE/RHCE/OCA certification are preferred.  
  
  Professional skills:  
  - Good planning and time management skills.  
  - Good task priority management.  
  - Good communication skills cross cultures.  
  
  Technical skills:  
  - Hands on experience on OS level administration, such as Windows server and Linux.  
  - Knowledge of hardware, including UPS, servers (Dell & HPE), and storages.  
  - Knowledge of virtualization platforms, such as VMware, Hyper-V  
  - Knowledge of Azure cloud platform, including IaaS (Azure VM & Network) and PaaS (SQL managed Instance)  
  - Knowledge of system health monitoring tools.  
  - Knowledge of backup solutions. Veeam is preferred.  
  - Knowledge of database management, such as SQL server and Oracle.  
  - Experienced on system patching management, and relevant tooling, like SCCM and vLCM.  
  - Experience on scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash for automation tasks  
  - Understanding of Azure DevOps and work experience with deploying infrastructure applications through CI/CD pipeline, Azure CLI, Terraform is preferred.  
  
  Language:  
  - Fluent communicate with all level users in English.
