KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Help Desk for DTH/Rotary Drill String Components:
• Act as the primary contact for customer procurement agent and regional NS Technical Service Representatives in sales related tasks assigned to the DTH/ Rotary drill string components product line.
• Dealing with part numbering questions / “Set up” part numbers in the Item Master Price List as requested by NS Technical Service Representative.
• Provide part number recommendations for various requests as required.
• Conduct customer quotation process.
• Conduct customer order confirmation process.
• Ensure initial stock levels are set in manufacturing process for new Products being released to specific new customers.
• Assist customer and NS TSR in expediting delivery of critical parts in machine down situations.
• Compile cost, price and delivery information for major tenders and submit quotations as per guidelines set by the Product Line Manager.
• Evaluate the need for part number replacements and updates.
• Provide quotations for non-standard products (Specials, components, kits, etc.).
• Assist in monitoring global inventory development and initiation of appropriate actions:
• Advise customer logistics on correct inventory levels required (focus on slow moving stock reporting)
• Provide pricing, specification and documentation for components part number replacements in the Item Master Price Lists in cooperation with current product engineering and product line management.
• Manage the Item Master Price Lists in a gate keeper process to be updated and reported to the Product Line Manager, Engineering and Technical Service Representative.
• Compile and maintain customer monthly forecast data as reported by the Technical Service Representative with this data being reported to Procurement and Manufacturing Departments.
• Generate monthly reports that include:
• Order compilation by region.
• Invoiced sales totals by region.
• Inventory development by region.
