Overseas Sales Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Market Development & Customer Acquisition

(a) Develop markets in designated regions/countries, identify potential customers, and explore new sales channels/business opportunities.

(b) Independently or collaboratively develop new clients through trade shows, online platforms, industry events, etc.

(c) Maintain relationships with existing clients, conduct regular communication to understand needs and uncover their market potential.

(d) Track project progress, assist customers with product selection, and provide technical support/solutions.

2. Sales Targets & Goal Achievement

(a) Develop personal sales plans aligned with company targets and ensure task completion.

(b) Respond promptly to inquiries, participate in negotiations, finalize contracts, and secure orders.

(c) Monitor order execution, coordinate internal departments (production, logistics, after-sales) to ensure on-time delivery.

3. Market Research & Analysis

(a) Conduct in-depth regional market research, collect industry data, competitor intelligence, and customer insights to support strategic planning.

(b) Analyze market trends, identify opportunities/risks, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

4. Channel Management & Partnership

(a) Develop/manage overseas distributors/agents to establish/optimize sales channels.

(b) Train and support agents to enhance their sales capabilities and market coverage.

5. Exhibitions & Market Promotion

(a) Participate/organize overseas exhibitions/seminars to increase brand visibility.

(b) Assist in developing/executing marketing plans (advertising, product demos, etc.).

6. Sales Data Management & Reporting

(a) Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and provide decision-making support to management.

(b) Monitor sales progress, identify issues, and propose improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Education: Full-time bachelor's degree or above. Preference for majors in:

- STEM fields (Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation)

- Commerce (International Trade, Marketing)

- English

2. Language:

- Fluent English (written/spoken) for seamless client communication

- Hindi proficiency preferred

3. Experience:

- 1-2+ years in overseas sales (industry experience preferred)

- Familiarity with foreign trade procedures

4. Technical Skills:

- Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PPT) for professional reports/presentations

- Technical background with ability to provide solutions (preferred)

5. Personal Attributes:

- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills

- Team-oriented, resilient under pressure, embraces challenges

- Market insight, fast-learning ability, adaptability to changes

- Outgoing personality with customer service mindset

6. Additional Requirements:

- Willingness for short-term overseas trips or long-term assignments

- Prior overseas study/work experience (preferred)

- Indian nationals preferred
