Research and analysis focusing on iron ore/steel market and China macro

Main duties and responsibilities:

·Compiling and updating data related to iron ore/steel market and China macro and preparing reports/emails accordingly

·Participating in conference calls/internal communications and bringing valuable insights to group discussion

.Building and maintaining supply and demand balance-sheets for iron ore and steel

.Able to build independent view and assist GM-Research and trading teams in forecasting main SnD factors and iron ore price trend in the short and long terms

.Travelling and attending important conferences and seminars related to steel/iron ore and macro and bringing back valuable insights

·Networking with key market players and sending valuable feedbacks afterwards

主要职责

· 收集和更新铁矿/钢铁市场及宏观经济的数据并准备相关报告/邮件

· 参与电话会议/内部沟通，为团队提供有价值的分析见解

. 搭建和维护铁矿/钢铁的供需分析表

. 拥有独立的见解并协助研究部总经理和销售团队预测供需指数及长短期铁矿价格走势

. 出差参加重要的钢铁/铁矿行业会议及宏观经济会议，提供有价值的洞见

. 积极与业内合作伙伴互动并反馈最新行业动态

Education / experience / technical skills required:

·Masters degree in economics, finance, material-related engineering, shipping or mathematics etc.(distinguished fresh graduate can also be considered)

.Three years or above working experience in commodity (esp.steel and iron ore) market research

·Excellent command of English speaking, listening, writing and reading (CET- 6 or above as a prerequisite)

.High level of proficiency using basic statistic tools, especially Excel;

学历 / 经验 / 专业技能要求

· 经济学、金融、材料工程、船运或数学专业的研究生（优秀的应届生也可考虑）

. 3年以上大宗商品（钢铁和铁矿石）市场研究的工作经验

· 优秀的英语听说读写能力（英语六级成绩优异）

· 熟练使用统计工具尤其是Excel
