KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1 Plan, Design and Develop the virtual infrastructure
2 Manage virtual infrastructure in multiple data centres
3 Perform maintenance and support of vCenter and ESXi systems
4 Maintain all Virtual Machines baseline configuration in a centralized and controlled environment
5 Provision Virtual Machines and patches to the software and hardware hosting infrastructure
6 Provide Security Patching and End of Support Upgrade on all related infrastructure facilities
7 Provide detail documentation of Virtual Infrastructure platform and security hardening
8 Work with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with IaaS
9 Troubleshooting complex problem between platform and vendors
10 Develop and maintain scripts for system administration and automation purposes in an operational environment with effective simplicity and long term ability to support the systems
11 Provide support and consultancy on IT solutions, govern the standards, evaluate related technologies
QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines;
•Effective communication skills in spoken Cantonese, written/read English;
•A good knowledge of VMware vSphere;
•Familiar with at least one of PowerShell/Batch/Ansible;
•Working experience in Windows and Linux servers’ maintenance;
•Analytical and problem-solving skills on network/VMware
•Good at communicating with others, being upright, honest, responsible for work
