EGA Shanghai, which is a subsidiary of EGA now has a job opening for Electrical Engineer, with following responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Own and execute sourcing for smelter equipment.
- Understand procurement requirements and China’s supply availability. Screen qualified suppliers, establish connection, arrange visit if needed.
- Establish and maintain database of qualified suppliers.
- Work with different teams and provide sourcing support as required.
- Facilitate communication between EGA teams and Chinese suppliers.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Supply-Chain Management.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience in aluminium smelting or non-ferrous metallurgy is preferred.
- English proficiency, both verbal and written, is a must.
- Willing to travel.
