Expected outcome
1. Follow up the suppliers and work with supplier development.
2. Responsible for the commercial part towards defined suppliers in the category.
3. Signing agreements with the suppliers according to our frame agreement and the strategy.
4. Negotiate pricelists and make sure they always are updated in our ERP system (GPO pricelists)
5. Develop the supplier base and make sure all info is updated in the systems.
6. Drive performance escalated global issues for the supplier.
7. Analysis and management and parts segmentation as well as for master data management, business analysis and reporting connected to the area.
8. Ensures high success rate on offered RFQs by utilizing mainly A & B suppliers
9. Handle RFQ in SO/OTR
10. Be an active part in the cross-functional reviews of the inquiry
11. Actively communicates with salesman and suppliers for each given project
12. Ensures best supplier from SMM and offer selection in maximum 2 working days for standard components and maximum 5 working days for special & drawing parts,
13. Review RFQ documentation package in accordance with Bufab Best Practice,
14. Ensures Supplier Base consolidation during RFQ process.
15. Be able to critical evaluate the risk of providing required parts.
16. Analyze best possible terms for complete RFQ package,
17. Documents each step in SuperOffice/OTR
18. Give feedback to sale on deviations and secure that we have the right documentation before we start to provide the parts.
19. Implement new won business in accordance with Bufab Best Practice (ex. part registration in ADS and BTS, sample approval, serial production release),
20. Supports senior management with reports and analysis
Required Qualifications & Competences
1. Bachelor's of mechanical engineering; with Machining process experience as plus.
2. 4-8 years experience in an international sourcing organization;
3. Negotiation & process skills
4. Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes.
5. Machining and Casting process knowledge as Plus
6. Ability to read and understand technical drawings,
7. Project management and change management skills
8. Based in BUFAB shanghai or willing to relocate;
9. Fluent in English, oral and written
10. Passionate about winning new RFQ projects, driven by results.
11. Strong understanding of 4 steps RFQ process (preparation, tender, awarding, closing),

Authorities and responsibilities
1. Build, manage and develop the dedicated supplier base
2. Suggest and drive improvements of global suppliers located in China
3. Implement the sourcing & category strategy
4. Phase-out suppliers after approval from Category and Sourcing board
5. Implement & qualify new suppliers after approval from Category and Sourcing board
6. Has full access to relevant data for RFQ project execution,
7. Implements new business with local and regional management, GAT
8. Can request resources for new parts implementation,
9. Implements new parts to suppliers in SMM within local companies in region,
10. Works in Super Office, reports on the timely manner.
