Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong
background in indirect procurement to join our team on a one-year
temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of
hands-on experience in indirect category management, supplier management,
and strategic sourcing. This role requires strong communication and
stakeholder-management skills, along with the ability to operate in a
fast-paced and multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and
execute sourcing initiatives across multiple indirect categories, ensuring
alignment with global and regional procurement strategies.
- Manage supplier
selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance evaluation.
- Partner closely
with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and drive cost
optimization opportunities.
- Conduct market
analyses to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
- Ensure
procurement activities comply with corporate policies, governance
standards, and global procurement procedures.
- Support
regional and global procurement projects as needed.
- Build and
maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external
suppliers.
- Continuously
identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum 7
years of experience in indirect procurement across multiple
categories.
- Proven experience
in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong command
of English is required; proficiency in Japanese or Korean is
preferred.
- Excellent
communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work
independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in
multinational corporations or regional procurement roles is highly
desirable.
