Position Description Summary :

This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management systems and policies. The role ensures timely and effective implementation of EHS initiatives while maintaining compliance with both local regulations and corporate policies.

Key responsibilities :

1. Facilitate EHS Meetings and compile comprehensive EHS Reports based on stakeholder inputs;

2. Review and implement EHS management procedures; participate in daily and relevant meetings while taking responsibility for assigned tasks;

3. Plan, organize, and deliver essential EHS training programs; evaluate their effectiveness and lead related promotional activities;

4. Stay current with existing and emerging EHS regulations and laws; communicate key updates to supervisors and provide support for EHS committee operations;

5. Maintain and update the emergency response plan; coordinate necessary emergency drills and implement follow-up actions based on findings;

6. Manage incident reporting through the QUENTIC system and ensure timely submission of required information to SMO Global;

7. Ensure compliance with ISO procedures and maintain accurate documentation of all required records;

8. Perform other duties as assigned by the company.

Basic requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Chemistry, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related technical fields.

2. Candidates with multinational EHS experience will be preferred, while exceptional recent graduates with internship experience are also encouraged to apply.

3. Comprehensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Protection regulations and practices.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with German teams.
