TV Software Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the end-to-end quality validation of TV products, including functional testing, KPI performance testing (PQ/AQ/UI/System Performance), interface and compatibility testing, specification and internal standard compliance, environment & reliability testing, EMC and safety compliance checks to ensure product quality before mass production and launch.

2. Conduct system functionality and stability testing for TVs, covering Android TV/Google TV, DVB/ATSC, Tuner, CA/CI+, HbbTV modules; develop test plans, create and execute test cases, track defects, and deliver comprehensive test reports.

3. Familiar with TV hardware and software testing methodologies, including video, audio, system KPI performance, network connectivity, application stability, RF signal quality, HDMI/CEC/eARC and other key metrics.

4. Participate in building automated test platforms; write automation scripts (Python/Shell) based on requirements and continuously improve test tools and efficiency.

5. Support third-party certification projects; priority for candidates familiar with
Netflix, Google GTV/GMS, Amazon, AirPlay2, CI+, HbbTV, and regional broadcast certification processes, with the ability to liaise independently with
certification bodies and operators.

6. Manage test progress and quality: allocate testing resources, monitor execution according to project milestones, take responsibility for complex system test tasks, and drive issue closure.

7. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product, Mechanical, and Project Management to improve overall product quality.

8. Keep track of industry trends and specification updates; continuously optimize
testing strategies, tools, and coverage to enhance R&D quality systems.

9. Use defect-tracking tools (JIRA) for issue reporting, tracking, verification, and
follow-up with development teams for root-cause analysis and resolution.

10. Ensure high-quality testing deliverables and complete tasks on schedule, work with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, Communications, or related fields; minimum 3 years of hands-on TV product testing experience (mandatory).

2. Strong English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for communication with global teams.

3. Solid understanding of Android TV / Google TV architecture; capable of independently setting up TV test environments (logcat/ADB/serial debugging).

4. Proficient with common test instruments: oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, Rohde & Schwarz SFU, power meter, Audio Precision analyzer, current probe, etc.

5. Familiar with testing of TV modules including PQ/AQ, HDMI/CEC, EDID, DRM
(Widevine/PlayReady), network performance, and application tests.

6. Experience in complete TV project testing from EVT/DVT/PVT to mass production is preferred.

7. Knowledge of global TV certifications (CE/FCC/S-Mark/ETL), CI+/HbbTV testing, DVB-C/T/S, ATSC standards, MPEG, HEVC, HDR, etc. is a plus.

8. Knowledge of Android/Linux system commands; automation scripting capability (Python/Shell) is a plus.

9. Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; able to work under pressure and support urgent testing activities.

10. Able to accept long-term overseas assignment (Vietnam).

电视机软件测试工程师

岗位职责：

1. 负责电视整机质量验证全流程：包含功能测试、KPI 性能测试（PQ/AQ/UI/系统性能）、接口兼容性测试、指标与企标对标测试、环境与可靠性测试、EMC 与安全法规验证，确保产品上市质量达标。

2. 负责 TV 系统功能与稳定性验证：涵盖 Android TV/Google TV、DVB/ATSC、Tuner、CA/CI+、HbbTV 等模块；根据产品需求制定测试计划、编写与执行测试用例，跟踪问题并输出完整测试报告。

3. 熟悉 TV 软硬件测试方法：含视频、音频、系统性能（KPI）、网络连接、应用运行、RF 信号质量、HDMI/CEC/eARC 等关键指标测试。

4. 参与自动化测试平台构建：根据需求编写测试脚本（Python/Shell），推动自动化工具和测试效率提升。

5. 参与第三方平台认证：优先熟悉 Netflix、Google GTV/GMS、Amazon、AirPlay2、CI+/HbbTV、各区域广播认证等测试流程，能独立对接认证机构和运营商。

6. 负责测试进度与质量管理：根据项目计划组织测试资源，跟踪测试进度，承担复杂系统测试任务，推动问题闭环。

7. 跨部门沟通与协作：与研发、产品、结构、项目管理团队密切合作，提高产品整体质量。

8. 持续关注行业趋势与标准变化：优化测试策略、工具和覆盖率，推动研发质量体系提升。

9. 使用缺陷管理工具（JIRA）进行问题提报、跟踪、验证，推动开发部门定位与解决。

10. 保证测试交付质量，按时完成任务；工作态度严谨、积极主动。

任职要求

1. 本科及以上学历，电子、计算机、自动化、通信等相关专业；三年以上 TV 整机测试经验（必要条件）。

2. 具备良好英语听说读写能力，可与海外团队沟通。

3. 熟悉 Android TV / Google TV 平台架构，能够独立搭建整机测试环境（logcat/ADB/串口调试）。
