该职位主要负责SGS-BETA实验室的专业检测服务,建立战略合作伙伴关系,并实现区域营收目标。需要您作为客户、我们的技术团队以及内部各部门之间的桥梁,确保沟通顺畅和长期合作。
This position is remote-based and open to candidates located within Mainland China.

We are currently seeking a motivated, service-oriented professional to join our business development team. The Account Manager will be responsible for expanding our client base and supporting our partners in the fields of archaeology, geology, and hydrology. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, a solution-oriented mindset, and a genuine interest in supporting scientific research and geotechnical projects.

This role focuses on promoting SGS Beta’s specialized testing services, developing strategic relationships, and achieving regional revenue targets. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between clients, our technical teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless communication and long-term cooperation.

Key Responsibilities

● Actively identify and develop new business opportunities across the archaeology, geology, and hydrology communities

● Build and maintain long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients through regular engagement

● Conduct in-depth discussions with clients to understand their radiocarbon dating needs and match them with appropriate SGS Beta services

● Present tailored service proposals, clearly communicating the value SGS Beta can provide to support client goals

● Deliver presentations online or in person, adapting communication style to effectively engage diverse audiences

● Attend in-person meetings and confidently communicate with key decision makers at universities, companies, and governmental institutions

● Collaborate internally to ensure smooth project handover and service delivery

● Manage the full sales process from lead generation to sample submission

● Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and meet established performance KPIs

● Provide feedback and market insights to management to support sales strategy development

● Represent SGS Beta at relevant academic events, trade shows, and seminars to promote brand awareness and industry presence

● Serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that clients receive high-quality service aligned with expectations

● Uphold SGS Beta professional and ethical standards at all times

● Continuously develop personal knowledge in SGS Beta services to better serve clients


Candidate Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, geology, archaeology, or a related scientific field (required)

● Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in technical sales, project coordination, or customer service (required)

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted client relationships (required)

● Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities (required)

Advanced English and Simplified Chinese proficiency in both written and spoken communication (required)
