Responsibilities:
1. Technical responsibility for the mechanical development and design of the products and their components up to series production readiness.
2. Technical responsibility for the creation and modification of CAD data (3D/2D) and technical product documentation regard to mechanical issues.
3. Determination of installation location, installation volume, mechanical interfaces and design in close cooperation with the customer.
4. Preparation / modification of requirement specifications and specifications as well as customer drawings.
5. Procurement and assembly of mechanical samples as part of the development process
6. Initiation of tool and article enquiries to the purchasing department about mechanical issues
7. Responsibility for the foreign development orders about mechanical matters
8. Responsibility for change requests and implementation between the customer or supplier and Fuba &Merit Automotive Electronics GmbH in coordination with all project managers about mechanical issues.
9. Technical responsibility for the mechanical concept during quotation preparation
10. Examination of customer requirements and documentation with mechanical concerns for economic feasibility and completeness
11. Presentation of the mechanical aspects within the scope of the offer preparation to customers (internal, external)
