Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for an individual to play a key role in supporting a top Asian based sovereign wealth fund client.
The professional will be closely working as an extended team member for the client and will assist them on the fund accounting and compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage capital call accounts i.e. calculating interest, principle, monitoring collateral, comply with parties, etc.
• End-to-end fund accounting process for PE funds which includes recording of day-to-day fund transactions, Cash reconciliation, preparation of financial statements
• Calculation of management fees, Accrual and true up bookings, Preparation of investor Contribution & distribution allocation, cash and position recon for Stocks
• Tracking KPIs and operational updates on daily / weekly / monthly basis
• Constant communication with the stakeholders on investor presentations
• Interaction with clients through emails and calls related with operational activities
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above, with 1-3 years of fund accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Knowledge and understanding of Private Equity and Financial Services Industry
• Ability to conduct high-quality project-level conversations with client
• Self-motivated professionals with proactive approach towards work would be preferred
• Professional expertise in MS Office with strong skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to take complete ownership and deliver the projects as per client requirements and timeline
• Familiar with various accounting tools will be a plus, such as Investran Accounting, Report Wizard , MDM, Workflows, Oracle, Frontier, JIRA, SECORE, Alfresco, Ipacs , Workflows and Investran Ops
