Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive review and daily oversight of active project electrical operations, including:

• Plan Reviews for Technical Accuracy: Critically examine current product electrical designs, wiring diagrams, load calculations, and equipment specifications prior to installation to ensure compliance with relevant US/Canadian electrical and building codes (e.g., NEC, CEC) and best practices.

• Process Mapping: Review and revise the current workflow for modular electrical installation, testing, and quality control.

• Suggest improvements or efficiencies where necessary, focusing on speed and consistency.

• Techniques & Equipment: Evaluate existing tools, testing equipment, and worker techniques in use for wiring, termination, and inspection.

• Recommend specific upgrades, additions, training, or modifications to improve process efficiency and consistency.

• Training and Mentorship: Lead hands-on and classroom training sessions for the electrical teams on code requirements, best practice installation techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.

3. Quality Assurance & Standards Development 3. 质量保证与标准制定

• Quality Control (QC) Program: Review and enhance the current QC Inspection and Testing Plans, project quality criteria, and electrical quality control documentation processes.

• This includes pre-power-up checks, continuity testing, and final inspection sign-offs.

• Defect Root Cause Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot common electrical defects such as incorrect wiring, insufficient grounding, or system malfunctions and develop preventative measures or appropriate repair/rework procedures.

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop clear, visual, and concise SOPs for all critical steps in electrical installation, testing, and quality control where these SOPs don’t already exist in the company system.

Qualifications

• Nationality/Residency: Chinese

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial or residential electrical systems, with a focus on new construction or industrial facility electrical management.

• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Deep knowledge of governing US/Canadian electrical codes and their implementation during factory installation and pre-site readiness.

  • Master Electrician License or equivalent recognized professional certification in a North American or Western European jurisdiction is highly sought after.

  • Experience or qualification with NEC, CEC, UL, CSA, IEC, or ISO electrical codes and standards will be strongly considered.

• Modular/Factory Experience (Preferred): Experience working on modular, prefabricated, or production-line construction projects is a significant asset.

• Training & Communication: Proven ability to effectively train, mentor, and communicate technical information to diverse multi-lingual teams.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to be on a factory floor for extended periods, including climbing stairs/ladders and withstanding production-line environments as required.
