Senior Business Development and Account Manager – China
About the role:
We are looking for a capable salesperson who is passionate about winning deals, willing to fight to win, wipes out every competitor and inspires the customers to buy from us.
Key Responsibilities:
• Winning customers: You need to be a great sales person, super familiar with a Chinese culture, have a proven track record of closing deals.
• Finding customers: Existing connections, cold calls, conferences, and whatever method that works, you must bring in projects.
• Negotiations: Ability to negotiate on price, be able to handle tough negotiators, navigate purchasing managers
• Closing deals: turning leads into cash.
• Customer Relationship Management: Managing long term customer relationships, through gifts, meals and so on. Responsible for keeping the CRM system up to date.
• Post sales: communicating with customers on any technical issues, services or maintenance requirements.
• Pitching: being able to pitch products in less than 1 minute.
Key requirements/skills (must have)
• A minimum of 10 years of proven sales track record involving automation equipment in China.
• Existing customer base contacts in the optical, material or advanced packaging industry.
• Appreciation and understanding of technology.
Other skills (good to have)
• A technical degree or diploma.
• Intermediate knowledge of spoken English.
