Role Summary/Purpose

v The I&V Engineer works consistently in practical and innovative ways towards defined goals. In this role you will be responsible for work as software level integration and verification aspects. You will utilize your experience or expertise to setup test environment, tool development, solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and have the ability to effect short-term business goals.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

v Participate in teams responsible for review requirement for testability, design test cases/procedures for functional test and robustness test, define test environment and develop verification tools, maximize test automation, execute test and generate reports, analysis failures, test issues and solutions, participate verification analysis.

v Independently recommend approaches to meet the technical and program requirements in certain function area.

v Assist in the formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, and contract commitments.

v Develop and lead action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.

v Develop technical understanding and skills in line with the relevant assigned project requirements utilizing the capability building framework and resources provided.

v Develop the knowledge and competency of fellow engineers within assigned technical areas.

v Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

v Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.

v Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder for issue trouble-shooting .

v Complete other tasks assigned by Line Manager on time with good quality, demonstrate accountability in daily work.

Qualifications Required

v 7 years of work experience with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering.

v Familiar with C/C++ programming language.

v Deep understanding of operating system principles, experiences in real-time operating system performance evaluation, including CPU/ memory usage, resource allocation analysis and etc.

v Familiar with TCP/IP/Ethernet protocols.

v Familiar with the SW development process, integration and testing processes.

v Background in aviation, communications, and medical equipment industry is preferred.

v Demonstrated experience of using scripting language.

v Ability to organize information and make timely and sound decisions.

v Ability to consistently produce high quality work.

v Able to prioritize work, and communicate openly.

v Solid English oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications Desired

v Knowledge of DO-178B/C.

v Experience with ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC 429, ARINC 615A, ARINC 661 and other industry standards.

v Experience with software architecture development and integration process is preferred.

v Experience with Evtol OEM or certification authority is preferred.

v Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate extensive internal and external project resources.

v Demonstrated ability for working in a new team.

v Demonstrated ability to work with cross-cultural groups.
