About our Company :
We are one of the largest importers in USA doing Home Textiles .We are now seeking a talented merchandiser to join our team with a focus on Home Textiles
Job Responsibilities:
Follow-up orders with vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
Assist in the product development process to ensure that products meet customers' quality and budget requirements
Assist to maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production
Assist to negotiate and be liaison with vendors or suppliers
Arrange sample submission
Assist to work with our quality control and product development department to ensure that all products manufactured meet the quality expected, the budgeted cost and the expected shipment time.
Requirements:
Experience with merchandising.
Must have 3-5+ years’ experience with home textiles.
Must have good communication/follow up skills
Working experience in top 10 home textiles company is a plus.
Candidates must be willing to take ownership of their work and be a problem solver.
Must be business savvy and able to negotiate.
Experience with Merchandising and Product Development required.
Must have experience with Home Textiles, strong experience in jacquard bedding is a plus..
Must have excellent communication/follow up skills, organizational and administrative skills.
Working experience in top 10 Home Textiles company is a plus.
Expert and knowledgeable in product: Sheets, Bedding, Quilting, Comforters, Window Treatments, Shower Curtains, etc.
Must be business savvy and able to negotiate.
Must understand factory operations
Must have a strong sense of color.
Must have an understanding of fabric construction and fabrication
