职位描述
Key Accountabilities:
1. Provide on the ground leadership for RMIT in establishing and maintaining relations, within a cross-cultural context, with key stakeholders from government, higher education institutions, industry and alumni through continuous networking and communications to identify and pursue opportunities aligned to RMIT’s strategic priorities;
2. Support strategic initiatives to optimise and further develop RMIT’s international agenda in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and the broader North Asia region, identifying and recommending potential opportunities to further the international agenda as required;
3. Facilitate and organise meetings and engagements with various external stakeholders for visiting RMIT staff and executives including preparing briefings, minutes of the meeting and follow-up as required;
4. Support the identification and activation of thought leadership events in collaboration with RMIT Colleges in Melbourne;
5. Support the implementation and development of RMIT's North Asia partnerships, with a core focus on strengthening partnership relations and supporting in-country marketing activity;
6. Provide on the ground market intelligence to support RMIT in its engagements across the region;
7. Initiate, build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and members of project teams, as required.
8. Facilitate and promote collaborative knowledge building and knowledge sharing among colleagues.

Key Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and building and maintaining high-level strategic partnerships.
2. Demonstrated experience and success in an engagement or business liaison role.
3. Confident communication and networking skills to develop and support relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including government, educational institutions, industry and professional networks, community organisations and RMIT students, staff, and Alumni network.
4. Substantial knowledge of and experience working with the higher education and the vocational education and training sectors in Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR and other North Asia markets and established networks in country.
5. Well-developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
6. Experience in working in a cross-cultural context with different Asian cultures and industry, in the international markets in which RMIT operates, including but not limited to the North Asia region.
7. Highly developed oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese languages, with an emphasis on written reports and submissions.
8. Capacity to think and work innovatively, effectively and flexibly in a small team environment.

Qualifications:
1. Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent extensive relevant experience and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training.
2. Fluency in Mandarin
