Job Specific competencies
Qualifications
§ Degree in a related engineering discipline or relevant trade qualifications.
§ Training or qualifications in quality management and/or business improvement techniques would be an advantage.
§ CWI qualified or equivalent. The certificate shall be within the valid duration, and it’s employees responsibilities to recertify the qualification if it’s due, any expired and not renewed certificates will lead to employees incompetence for the position and result in termination without severance package.
Industry and Technical competency
§ On site experience in a relevant industry (eg resources, engineering and construction).
§ Knowledge and experience in the application of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
§ Maybe required to deliver small group training sessions related to quality management.
§ Sound knowledge and experience in interpretation of applicable industry standards and specific clients requirements
General skills, experience and knowledge
§ Bi-lingual work language English& Mandarin, fluent in both oral and written English.
§ Written communication skills able to prepare, technical instructions, reports etc
§ Interpersonal and verbal communication skills working effectively with team/work groups or those outside formal line of authority (eg. peers, senior managers) to accomplish organisational goals.
§ Quality orientation and attention to detail - showing concern for all aspects of the job; accurately checking processes and tasks; maintaining watchfulness over a period of time.
§ Analysis/problem assessment able to obtain relevant information, identify key issues and relationships, compare data from different sources and identify cause-effect relationships.
§ Sound computer skills, able to use Word, Excel and other relevant software.
§ Willing to work on a wide range of projects and tasks and at times working irregular hours.
§ Willing to travel or relocate.
