Job Purpose

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities of assigned vendors
• Analyze/identify supply chain improvement opportunities, implement and execute continuous improvement
• Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and sourcing departments to acquire supply in a cost effective and timely manner
• Procures materials, components, equipment and services as per business needs
• Monitors the cost, delivery schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value
• Conducts tasks in accordance with applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities
• Lead improvement tasks/projects to make breakthrough in supply management
• RFQ for ETO business
• Support and manage major/critical supply recovery and assure continuity supply with no line stoppage
• Trouble shooting with suppliers on delivery. Have sense of urgency and priority.
• Need to manage around 100 suppliers( 50% domestic/50% oversea)
• Find root cause of issues and find solutions to tackle issues systematically
• Manage suppliers On-Time delivery performance and is able to find ways to improve
• Coordinate the Engineering Change Order and assure implementation effectively RFQ based on sourcing’s strategy
• Implement Lean Supply Chain (Consignment/VMI etc.)
• Lead business/service review with vendors
• Interact with suppliers and various departments regarding procurement Policy & Procedures

• Solid knowledge and experience on manufacturing supply chain management
• Be able to manage major/critical supply recovery
• Able to analyze the supplier performance and find improvement opportunities
• Be able to analyze root cause of issues and find solutions to tackle issues systematically.
• Commodity/Project management experience is a plus
• SAP/Lean knowledge is a plus
• Be able to speak English fluently and be able to present
• Be able to lead improvement projects across different functions.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE
• Minimum Bachelor Degree qualification preferably in Engineering
• 5-8 years’ supply management experience in manufacturing environment
• Commodity/sourcing/project management experience is a plus
