Educational Background

Mechanical or electrical Engineering degree

Good understanding of project management

Good organizational, communication and leadership skills

Technical Skills

Automotive and/or non-automotive experience as project manager for minimum 5 years Experience as System Engineer for automotive projects is an asset.

Lead projects according to Automotive SPICE requirements and the IEE PSP.

Budget responsibility for dedicated projects.

Language Skills

Fluent in English (written and spoken). German and/or French are assets.

IT Skills

Good working knowledge of office software

Microsoft Project (or equivalent)

SAP Version control software SVN

Responsibilities (job position)

Leads all project management aspects of the project from startup phase to final release (and launch if applicable).

Defining project scope, goals and deliverables

Defining project tasks and resources needed.

Develop and manage project plan and timing

Manage project budget and piece costs

Coordinating and supporting the team members

Monitoring and reporting progress of the project to all stakeholders

Supervise and monitor supplier interfaces

Request and lead the necessary gate reviews.

Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that the project delivers on all component performance, quality and manufacturing requirements.

Ensure that project issues are documented and issue tickets for identified issues (WPD’s)

Ensure that project team is following and maintaining the Project Plan and Configuration Management Plan.

Follow the Project Structure Plan (PSP) and all defined company processes
