Educational Background
 Engineering degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, or physics desired)
Technical Skills
 Experiences as an engineer in the wire and cable industry (engineering or manufacturing environment).
 Good mechanical knowledge
Language Skills
 English: fluent
IT Skills
 Knowledge of standard business software products (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Windows XP etc.)
Soft Skills
 Excellent interpersonal skills and communication ability with customers
 The ability to work autonomously in an international environment, creativity, team spirit and a pro-active attitude are imperative
 Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contract documentation, and government/industry standards and specifications
 Act according ISOTS 16949
 Respect environmental, health and safety internal requirements defined by OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001
岗位职责
 Detail assessment of OEM (VW, BMW, MB, PSA, RSA…) specification and international norms (DIN, ISO, VDA…).
 The Cable Design Engineer is responsible for the analysis of customer specifications and proposal of a cable harness and accessories.
 The Cable Design Engineer is responsible or will support for cable costing, sub supplier selection, lessons learnt sharing.
 The Cable Design Engineer is responsible for the cable construction and will prepare the supplier cable drawing.
 Internal interface to project teams globally and product engineering. Supports the factory for the definition of the cable manufacturing specification.
 External interface to customer engineering and quality departments for cable design and cable specification review.
 Optimizes the technical offer to the benefit of technical performance and cost reduction.
 Supports QA to respond to customer complaints, taking corrective action.
 Preparing the validation plan (tests and costs) requested from customer in collaboration with the project team and the central laboratory.
