Educational Background
 Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience in IT
Technical Skills
 Proven record of experience with administration of the following DB2, MongoDB and MS SQL server
 HADR, TSA, DB2 clustering and similar technologies experience
 Hand on experience with the IBM CDC platform
 Day to day database administration experience
 Knowledge of distributed databases
 Scripting skills (SQL, Shell)
 Strong in Linux/Unix
 Experience with administration of application servers such as Docker and Tomcat
 Experience in JIRA/Confluence is considered an asset
Language Skills
 Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
 German or French is considered as an advantage
Soft Skills
 Strong motivation to take over responsibilities and ownership of topics
 Positive “can do” attitude
 Team Player
 Innovative approach to work, constantly looking for opportunities how to improve the existing system
 Availability outside of business hours in case of production blocked as of database issues
岗位职责
 Taking ownership of the IEE databases
 Maintaining and monitoring existing databases
 Developing standards and guidelines to rule out potential risks and DB problems
 Ensuring that all databases comply with appropriate standards, resilience, monitoring, DR plans, backup & storage capabilities and operational readiness
 Tuning and optimization (queries, I/O)
 Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance, blocking, deadlocking, replication, log, security and other issues
 Installing and maintaining databases including release execution, backups, user management and migrations
 Identifying and evaluating industry trends in database systems to serve as a source of information and advice for IT management
 Carrying out additional support tasks
 Database deployments
 Database installations and configurations
