Work in the sustainability area of Lojas Renner in Shanghai, promoting fluid
communication with the team in Brazil.
• Monitor and support the implementation of sustainability and socio-environmental
compliance guidelines with local suppliers.
• Conduct audits and technical visits to assess the social, environmental and ethical
performance of suppliers, according to international standards (e.g., Higg Index, SLCP,
BSCI, ZDHC, etc.).
• Assess social and environmental risks in the supply chain and support the creation of
mitigation plans.
• Support the development and engagement of suppliers in continuous improvement
projects (e.g.: water footprint, waste management, decarbonization, working conditions).
• Participate in relevant local sustainability and corporate social responsibility forums and
networks.
• Manage data, indicators and reports of social and environmental performance of the
local chain, ensuring their quality and alignment with corporate KPIs.
• Work closely with merchandisers, quality and suppliers to ensure sustainability criteria
are incorporated into operational processes and sourcing decisions.

Musts:
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Advanced or fluent Mandarin (preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sustainability in the supply chain, preferably in the
textile or fashion sector.
• Working knowledge of social/environmental audits and international standards (BSCI,
SA8000, ISO14001, Higg, etc).
• Ability to work with multicultural teams and remotely. Frequent Travelling in China and
sometimes other countries
• Previous experience in international Brands/Retailers
Nice to have:
• Knowledge in Life Cycle Assessments, carbon footprint for garments, water and
chemicals management in the supply chain
• Degree in areas such as Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Administration,
International Relations, or related areas.
• Project Management experience
