Main Responsibilities
· Work to Edwards and legislative standards to ensure the safety of people, process, equipment and environment for all field and onsite engineers within the territory.
· Ensure contractual commitments are completed.
· Support Field Engineers ensuring appropriate standards of service are provided.
· Schedule work, allocate & develop appropriate skill level, ensure appropriation of labor and materials required to economically perform the job.
· Ensures latest SIB (engineering change), product training and safety bulletins are communicated and completed.
· Interface with customers at all appropriate levels and facilitate product enquiries and technical advice to customer’s engineers.
· Report events and actions to the Customer Support & Superior Service manager , China, and KAM Managers, in a manner that enables analysis of information to be carried out in support of improving the understanding of Edwards’s equipment/systems reliability and cost of ownership.
Manage budget and expenditures, ensures correct allocation of labor and material costs.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- BS degree level in electro/mechanical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years direct experience in Semi SDL industrial service environment dealing directly with customers.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising skilled personnel
- Good PC skills that enable equipment and service management systems to be interrogated and updated, and to produce concise reports.
- Ability to write work instructions (operation and maintenance) and other procedures. For highrisk activities will seek approval by competent person.
- Broad range of electrical/electronic/mechanical skills
