Key Responsbilities:
- Take over management responsibilities of logistics (inbound, intra- and outbound logistics), operative purchasing and production planning for Beijing factories
- Ensure the on-time production of customer orders while simultaneously implementing a waste-free and (cost)-efficient production and logistics
- Ensure that demand figures are regularly balanced with production capacities in order to ensure and exceed the defined delivery performance targets.
- Cooperate closely with the management of Order Management, Purchasing, Quality and Operations to ensure deadlines and deliveries as well as to ensure adaptions in case of a lack of resources.
- Ensure a reliable Supply Chain. Define Supplier Integration concepts and safeguard the implementation and monitoring and control of the concepts
- Guarantee the information flow of all performance relevant information to all actors involved in the Supply Planning and logistics process and provide information and KPIs coming out of the process to the WILO organization.
- Ensure process excellence and continuous improvement for all supply chain processes
- Analysis, development and optimisation of logistic concepts within the location / country
- Drive proper implementation of the location / country logistics budget, monitor logistics costs and recommend course corrective action on a need basis
- Ensure timely receipt of goods from the supplier to avoid production supply delays
- Oversee timely dispatch of finished goods to the customer site in close cooperation with Order Management
- Develop the logistics budget, policies, processes and scheduling plans (e.g. Propose and introduce investment and operating costs budget)
- Define and control warehouse management processes
- Define the transport policy, negotiate the transport contracts, and manage the relations with sub-contractors in transport
- Develop packing methods, internally and from supplier

Requirements
- Master degree in engineering or business management
- 5 - 8 years cross functional experience in international business processes with focus on S&OP, Supply Chain Management, Logistics management & Production planning
- 3-5 year of (department) management & leadership experience
- Experience in production planning, operational purchasing and logistics as well as sound SAP knowledge (SAP APO / SNP PP/DS / EWM)
- Fluent in English (speech and letter), further local languages
- Affinity for data and figures
- Prudent character who is able to maintain an overview even in stressful situations and can withstand pressure
- Collaborative and methodic skills
