Job Description
Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site installation of complexed equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure working order accurately
• Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits
• Provide fixing and repair support for customers and other field service personnel
• Develop positive working relationships with customers, system users and company personnel
• Complete and submit field service reports
• Provide training for users on system maintenance Feedback to product quality teams
• Provide appropriate input in writing updating and correcting various Thermo Fisher microscope system documentation
• Have mentorship for various reports including identifying and isolating problems with system
• Act as a subject guide and resource for training
Position Requirements
• Typically, a university degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills.
• Typically requires ＞1 year hands on technical experience installing, fixing, repairing and calibrating complexed analysis tools such as SEM, TEM, FIB or similar systems.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skill
• Prove ability to fix complexed systems and subsystems down to component level
• Able to read and interpret schematics
• Familiar with UHV phenomenon and technology
• Experience famous service organizations within a medium to large scale company, providing support to equipment customers is preferred
• Superior influencing and leadership skills is preferred
