Main Duties:
1. Interface to customer.
2. Supplier management.
3. Profound knowledge of simultaneous development processes in the automotive industry
4. With the request of group leader or project responsible, leading SE-team to execute & fulfill the work package/module/system independently
5. Ensure system deliverable meet customer and MSC quality requirement.
6. Ensure system timing (develop timing and manufacture timing) meeting project timing requirement.
7. Report Project status to project and exterior department.
8. Exterior lighting styling feasibility check and management supplier development.
9. Create/Check/tracking the system timing according to master timing.
10. Lead the engineering regular meeting and topical meeting.
11. Homologation check.
12. Visual BOM create and check.
13. Master sections define and check.
14. Technical documents (SSTS, SOR, etc.) define and update according to project requirement.
15. Benchmarking and compare report define according to project requirement.
16. Launch build support and issue solving.
17. Prepare milestone deliverables.
18. Other requirements from project and department.
19. Lead department technical accumulation and improvement.
20. Coach new team members to get them integrated into the organization.
Qualification
1. Experienced designer, 8+ years preferred (5+ years minimum)
2. Good experience on the Exterior lighting systems, with work experience in China OEM or supplier preferred.
3. Experienced at least 2 of following parts as minimum: headlamp, rear lamp
4. Relative knowledge on other system such as Body, trim, CV, chassis, EE etc.
5. Be proficient in CATIA software, Proficient in CATIA modeling of lighting.
6. Ability to be self starter, seeking help as needed.
7. Could be suitable for business trip for project.
8. Good communication ability both in mandarin and English.
9. Open mind and teamwork with people from different cultures.
