Principal responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Mine, analyze, and model large structured and unstructured data using advanced statistical methods, predictive models, and machine learning algorithms to discover strategic solutions and provide actionable business insights.
- AI/ML Integration: Integrate AI/ML technologies into the bank, with a focus on GenAI ones including large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and Agentic AI, to enhance data-driven solutions and streamline business processes.
- Analytics Solutions Development: Develop and apply appropriate methodologies, algorithms to help business apply data-driven decisions.
- Business Insight & Strategy: Maintain a deep understanding of business dynamics, anticipate potential business problems, and conduct quantitative analysis to identify root causes and discover growth opportunities.
- AI Solutions Development: Develop AI/machine learning solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and meet performance metrics.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with a wide range of partners and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of AI/machine learning solutions, with clearly defined performance measurements.
- Timely Analytics Deliverables: Ensure the delivery of timely and high-quality analytics outputs to effectively meet business needs in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: Share knowledge and best practices, working collaboratively across teams to foster a productive, diverse, and supportive working environment.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of development experience to deliver production-grade Machine Learning / AI solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Machine Learning Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Generative AI Skills: Experience with embedding techniques, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompting, and LLM fine-tuning; Understanding of Agentic AI principles.
- Educational Background: MS/PhD degree (preferred) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Python/R, Command Line, SQL/BigQuery, AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Hugging Face), data visualization tools such as Tableau/QlikSense, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Ali Cloud)..
- Research Interpretation: Ability to interpret and apply AI academic research in Generative AI, Machine Learning to real-world applications.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex AI challenges, particularly in the deployment and optimization of AI systems.
- DevOps and Agile Practices: Experience with DevOps practices for AI, particularly in CI/CD automation, and familiarity with Agile methodologies for iterative AI development.
- Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with a keen business acumen.
