Responsibilities
Support to Director of University Counselling
• Arrange and promote university visits. Maintain work relations with university admission representatives; contact relevant people to publicize on school calendar and Dulwich WeChat
• Accommodate university representative and attend university presentations, setup room
• Maintain university contact information
• Prepare transcripts for university applications, summer schools, and leavers
• Update transcripts, midyear reports and final transcripts on Maialearning
• Assist students’ school transfers. Send transcripts and teacher reference letters, keep tracking record of application documents.
• Assist students applying to summer schools
• DHL paper copy application documents to universities/institutions
• Stamping documentation at Korean Embassy
• Key contact during summer holiday to make sure student admission process is smooth
• Coordinate/run university related events including college fair/Career’s Day/presentations/workshops)
• Alumni data collection
• Contact parents and students regarding any university related information (regular emails, contact and reply to questions, Counsellor Newsletters)
• Help collect university references from teachers
• Update test scores on MaiaLearning
• Translation for presentations/newsletter as required
• Attend university related events and workshops outside school
• Coordinator of standard tests. Teach students and parents of registration process, answer test relative questions
• Manage SAT & ACT test
• Manage PSAT and Pre-ACT test
• Other tasks necessary to ensure the proper administration of the College’s responsibilities in connection with students’ university applications.


Skills and Experience Required


• At least 2 years’ experience in a related role
• Ability to build relationships with SS university team
• Ability to work with teachers (both expat and local), students and parents. Must be patient and thorough.
• Ability to express her/his view on related work openly
• College degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Good attitude to work, sense of initiative and strong responsibility
• Good computer skills-including Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint, and email
• Ability to multi-task
• Language ability-fluent Mandarin Chinese & English
