职位描述
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with global R&D to lead the Chinese industrial and R&D teams and develop the new products and manufacturing processes for both local (China & Asia-Pacific) and global markets:
a) Project management: for global and local markets
b) Localization projects: from headquarters to China & Asia Pacific
c) Conduct technology watch and keep a close eye on local market trends to identify, propose and conduct new R&D projects
d) Exchange and coordination with Erlab VP Innovation (France)
2. Technical support for other departments (production, sales & after-sales, quality, marketing, etc.):
a) New products and technologies introduction
b) Troubleshooting support for complex production or non-conformity issues in cooperation with quality, production and after-sales technical supervisor
c) Marketing technical documents review
d) Industrialization: Validation on structure and standard related
e) Quality Control: support QC Dept. on QC validation process
f) Products standard conformity
3. Leadership and management of the multi-disciplinary R&D team including electronics, mechanical design and chemistry:
a) Utilize expertise and leadership skills to direct the R&D team to identify and solve issues to meet project goals
b) Emphasize and strive for team cohesiveness and team cooperation
c) Ability to develop the competencies and skills of his/her team members (nurturing and retaining the talents)
d) Ability to motivate the team towards meeting objectives
e) Ability to deal with potential conflicts (inside the department and with other departments)
f) Effectively knows when and what to delegate to his/her team
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, 10-15 years related working experience R&D or engineering department
2. 5+ years’ experience in equipment projects, good project management skills, ability to lead and drive projects as scheduled, able to report projects status timely.
3. Familiar with mechanical design, tolerance and fit, understand basic rules of electric and electronic, capable of design according to requirements.
4. Ability to design experiments, analyze data, to validate designs.
5. Good at analyzing issues, good hands-on, and quick learning abilities.
6. Open minded to discover and learn new technical skills.
7. At ease to work with an international company and family culture.
8. Good English level: written and spoken (French language could be a plus but it is not fundamental).
9. At ease to manage people with at least 5-year experience in managing a team.
10. Good communication skills and team player with other departments.
11. Experience in industrialization projects and in process R&D projects preferred .
12. Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for his/her actions and decisions.
