The Analytical Engineer - Analytical Science Kunshan is in charged of applying and/or modifying Chromatography methods on equipment based in GDCK. This is a new
position in the organization established due to business intention to bring additional knowledge to the team in Kunshan. Incumbent will be in charge of the different
instruments and methods linked to chromatography analysis in Kunshan. On regular basis he will be in touch with counteparts and experts based in Luxembourg.
From technical perspective incumbent in this role will add critical knowledge and practice considering chromatography methodology. This is a critical capability, that needs to
be build within the team in Kunshan from business point of view.
The main accountabilities of the role are as following:
- Characterization of tire raw materials and cured rubber compounds using modern analytical methods;
- Communication to customers;
- Development of updated methods;
- Operations' overview
The candidate must have strong theoretical and practical competencies in material characterization using classical chemical analysis methods.
• Experiences in troubleshooting, maintaining, and calibrating analytical instruments and laboratory equipment to ensure efficient lab operations are preferred.
• Experience in automation of chemical analysis methods will be considered as an asset.
• Experience in the characterization of fillers will be considered as an asset.
• Experience with polymers, especially elastomers, will be considered as an asset.

• Knowledge of database search, laboratory information management systems, and statistical data analysis;
