Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. Master’s degree would be a plus.

• Experience in the design of electrical machines
• Matlab / Simulink / Python / Maxwell3D
• Minimum English Level 4, Knowing German language is a plus. Must be able to communicate effectively using English
• Ability to coordinate and lead technical solutions
• Ability to prepare and present to customers
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design an optimization of electrical machines using modern simulation tools and optimization algorithms
• Simulation of alternative machine types and innovative technologies
• Further development of the design methodology and the simulation and optimization environment used in collaboration with scientific partners
• Development of specifications and test programs for electrical machines
• Collaboration with electronics development, design, testing, suppliers and scientific institutes
• Participation in project teams
• Compile technical reports as required
• Prepare and present information to internal and external customers
• Prepare a work schedule with interim and end target estimates for all projects within his/her responsibility
• Maintains proper filing systems to ensure all information are properly stored and easily retrieved
• Follows and enforces the guidelines and rules as defined in the Employee Handbook and Company policies
• May be required to work “onsite” at customer locations for different periods of time
• Follow ISO 9001/TS16949 procedures and assist with audits
• Performs other duties as required by Management.
