Position Accountabilities:
 Responsibility for achieving BD targets
 To work with existing and potential clients in generating and concluding transportation business opportunities
 Support to develop robust business development proposals from inception to implementation with the aim of providing quality and innovative transportation solutions against prescribed deadlines
 Delivers co-ordination of end-to-end business development process:
- Customer interface with the aim to build good customer/corporate relationships
- Solution development
- Pricing / commercial analysis
- Proposal generation
 Identification of potential customers and building relationships through proactive & reactive business proposals
 Cooperation with related teams such as OP/BD/AI or in conjunction with other solution design colleague for appropriate solution, proposals and costing
 Support segment specific market analysis in China transportation industry
Requirement:
 Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Business Administration / Engineering related discipline
 Minimum 5 years’ experience in China logistics/transportation industry
 Experience in 3PL Contract Management (either as service provider, or service 'buyer'), would be desirable
 Familiar with the Electronic or industrial account is preferred
 Knowledge on the Customs will be a plus
 Good understanding of China logistics industry trends with specific emphasis on transportation concepts
 Good communication skills in both English and Chinese, oral and written
 Excellent interpersonal skills
 Excellent process analytical skills
 Mature, resourceful, self-driven and high degree of professional integrity
 Ability to work effectively in a customer driven deadline environment
 Some exposure to financial modeling techniques would be an advantage
