Position Summary

Collaborate with corporate teams on new product and process development. Lead engineering efforts during new process implementation and provide regional/global technical support. Oversee coating projects in China and global AR (anti-reflective) coating initiatives, drive the Coating roadmap of masss production, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead GPE (Global Process Engineering) technical projects and process implementation in mass production and Rx (prescription) coating environments.
2. Engineer and optimize new processes for rollout in FSV (Full-Scale Verification) and Rx coating operations.
3. Gather operational feedback and escalate critical insights to T&I for new projects or continuous improvement.
4. Coordinate technical support for troubleshooting in mass production and Rx coating processes.
5. Support the OPS Book Coating Section in standardization and best practices.
6. Develop, drive, and execute the Global Coating Roadmap for Mass and Rx products.
7. Mentor and coach junior engineering talent within the organization.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience: 5–10 years in the lens industry, with expertise in optical vacuum coating, liquid coating, and project management.
3. Skills:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
