- Lead and contribute to numerical simulations for complex
engineering designs.
- Understand the simulation scope, requirements, and acceptance
criteria to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Prepare finite element (FE) models based on simulation
objectives and simulation standards.
- Run simulations, identify potential issues, and take
appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Perform post-processing by interpreting FEA results and
providing actionable insights for engineering decisions.
- Generate FEA reports summarizing key results and providing
comprehensive engineering conclusions for decision-makers.
- Analyze and processing road load signals
- Maintain records of all activities and results in the CAE
database.
- Support and mentor team members to ensure timely and successful
delivery of simulation projects.
- Provide engineering suggestions for design improvements based
on FEA results.
Technical/Professional Knowledge and
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of solid mechanics theory and machinery design
fundamentals.
- Proficient in finite element method theory and practical
applications.
- Experience with applied FE software, such as:
- HyperMesh
- Abaqus
- nCode
- GlyphWorks
- Ability to leverage FEA results to suggest improvements in
design performance.
- Ability to plan and execute complex FEA simulation plans for
design development.
- Practical experience in python scripting for job automation and
customization
