Define and manage overall vehicle level EE maturity planning with corresponding responsible according to MDS future and in line with system SW & HW release planning to ensure overall vehicle EE maturity for both development and production. Create and maintain the target SW & HW version in MB system to ensure the testing and production correctness. Meanwhile, this role is also responsible to define the testing vehicle retrofit target and focus as guideline for testing engineers and support the overall vehicle EEKL and intensive testing activity.
Define and maintain overall vehicle EE release planning in collaboration with R&D headquarter in Germany and other R&D departments in China during development phase
Define EE testing vehicle software and hardware target for each release and testing environment in collaboration with function owners and component developers
Consolidate and generate China specific features or parameter for all EE domains (e.g. Body EE, telematics, and ADAS).
Manage and maintain EE SW release in different level in EPDM and MBOS portal in alignment with the relevant developers in global wise, support EE SW car package deployment at BBAC plant.
Evaluate and ensure EE function ramp up plan (e.g. FROP) with BTVs, FOs and PM team, especially for cross functions
Support EE testing and document testing finding tickets in relevant system
Team internal support, support testing engineer other test related work
Education:
Bachelor degree or above in electrical engineering, computer science, and vehicle engineering
Experience:
5-10 years working experience at OEMs or suppliers for E/E, especially in Telematics / ADAS development or testing.
Good experience of EE SW release management and FROP management.
Good experience of engineering change management.
Good knowledge of vehicle development and testing process.
Familiar with vehicle production process, especially of ECUs industrlization and EOL testing.
Ability to understand software and hardware requirements, vehicle architectures and testing methodologies
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
Self-responsible, strong analytical and problem solving skills
Teamwork spirit with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Specific Knowledge:
Solid knowledge of vehicle CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet and EE architecture.
Basic diagnose knowledge is required, be familiar with CANoe or CANanalyzer.
Solid knowledge of vehicle architectures, network technologies and communication mechanisms
Good driving skills with valid Chinese driving license.
Advanced MS Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Fluent Chinese and English language skills and capable to work in multi-cultural environment
Willingness to travel inside China and abroad on test drives
