What will you do?
Applies technical knowledge when assisting leadership in client compliance and reporting projects
Prepares and review US tax work papers/returns (Forms 1120, 1120F, 5471, 8992, 1065, 8621 etc.)
Assists managers and partners to provide US International/tax advisory services involving U.S. inbound and outbound transactions, group restructuring and perform U.S. tax due diligence
Identifies U.S. tax issues on client engagements and perform tax technical research using tax soft wares such as BNA portfolio and CCH
Drafts reports, identify key issues/risks and propose solutions for clients with respect to U.S. tax advisory projects
Assists managers and partners to advise financial institution clients on how to comply with FATCA/CRS regulations including performing sample checks, periodic reviews on the compliance program and annual account reporting to the respective jurisdictions
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality services to the clients
A fit for the role:
Bachelor degree or above in tax, accounting, finance, law or other related disciplines
Professional accounting qualification or registered tax agent or lawyer is required
1-3 years of relevant US Tax/FATCA/CRS experience with CPA firms (Big 4 experience is preferred), law firms, tax authorities or large corporation
In-depth understanding of tax policies, rules and regulations
Strong analytical and highly commitment to quality client service
Strong consultation skills, communication skills, self-initiation, teamwork spirit and willingness to work under pressure
Be mature, proactive, committed, motivated with strong sense of teamwork
Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
Candidates with more experience will be considered for Manager position
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills
Willing to travel
Candidates with less experience will be considered for Associate position
