YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead team to provide timely and quality financial reporting to stakeholders
- Improve financial operational process and controls, with strong coordination with Bayer group enabling functions
- Monitor cash position and assist in setting of funding arrangement
- Supervise tax filing from compliance perspective and guide the team to gather preferential tax policies for effective tax planning
- Provide useful financial insights to help make better decision about formulating and executing business strategy
- Drive the annual budget process and long-term strategy for JV to grow market share in corn seed industry, and contribute profit to parent company
- Drive effective internal and external communication interactions with JV general manager, JV functional leads, JV board of directors,
- Bayer CS China CDH and Finance Head, China partners, financial institutions and other stakeholders; act as a critical window function to foster transparent governance control between Bayer and the JV
- Motivate the development of JV finance team
- Initiate & lead changes where necessary to excel team performance
- Act as a role model to emphasize the company culture
WHO YOU ARE
- Educational background
- Master degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration:
- 10 years’ experience in finance function in multi-national company; experience in Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
- Experience in the specificities of Seeds business esp. Breeding & production aspects
- Strong business acumen & good analytical capability
- Superior thinking & problem-solving capability in contradictory situation
- Good judgement
- Effective bilingual communication skill of Chinese and English
- Influential leadership in terms of leading a stand & initiating/Leading changes
- Integrity/honesty
- High sense of responsibility & Result-oriented
- Quick learning, reactivity
