Overall Description: (temporary job; no insurance)
You will support our marketing team by conducting market research to inform strategic decisions while simultaneously managing logistics for key events. This dual-focus role requires excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to multitask.
Major Responsibilities:
1. Competitor & Market Research
• Conduct in-depth research on competitor schools (programs, fees, marketing tactics, enrollment strategies).
• Track local/regional education trends, including parent preferences, emerging school models, and community needs.
• Analyze competitor events (open days, fairs, workshops) to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Prepare reports with actionable insights to refine the school’s branding, pricing, and outreach strategies.
2. Event Management
• Plan and execute virtual/hybrid/in-person events (workshops, webinars, conferences).
• Coordinate logistics: venue booking, vendor negotiations, attendee registration, and post-event feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, design) to align events with brand goals.
• Track event budgets and ensure timely execution within scope.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Experience: 1–2 years in market research (education sector preferred) and/or event planning (schools, nonprofits, or community outreach).
• Familiarity with K–12/private school landscapes and parent decision-making drivers.
• Skills: Proficiency in data tools (Excel, Google Trends) and social media analytics.
• Strong networking skills to build partnerships with local organizations.
• Creativity in designing engaging, family-centric events.
