Job Responsibilities

• Perform PCR role in CD projects, including: conducting systematic risk assessments using DFMEA tools and developing corresponding qualification plans; tracking and evaluating test results; organize design reviews at key milestones and submit relevant deliverables; manage engineering changes including drawings and related standards; analyze failures encountered during testing to find the root cause and propose according solutions.
• Conduct preliminary validation and research on cost-saving proposals to ensure feasibility and effectiveness. Identify cost reduction opportunities by evaluating product structures, components, materials, and new manufacturing processes. Drive implementation of optimization solutions by integrating cost optimization with manufacturing-oriented design.
• Utilize simulation and computational tools to refine design concepts. Integrate insights from conceptual analysis, simulation outcomes, and test data into the product optimization workflow.
• Coperate with procurement and process engineers to evaluate and implement optimization solutions and concepts.
• Organize cost reduction workshops to gather proposals, conducting initial assessments based on implementation complexity, savings potential, and customer impact.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or compressor technology
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product development or engineering; candidates with cost optimization experience are preferred
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong problem analysis and resolution capabilities, with proficiency in quality management tools including 8D, FTA, and Six Sigma
• Practical experience in innovative technology sourcing, development, and design verification
• Proficiency in English with the ability to conduct technical discussions independently.
