We are looking for a dedicated candidate to take on an Industrial Automation Sr. Regional Sales Manager role located in Beijing. You will be responsible for leading and growing an established territory covering Process in Industrial Automation customers and channel partners. Job Responsibilities
1. Sales Execution:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to exceed sales targets within the assigned territory for Industrial Automation Market.
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and market trends and capitalize on them to drive revenue growth.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline, with a consistent focus on new customer acquisition, opportunity creation and closure.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of the competition.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
• Actively engage channel partners with a focus on sales and market share growth; hold them accountable to sales targets, activity levels, and joint business development plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing Process in Industrial Automation key customers.
• Understand customer needs, provide technical expertise, and offer solutions that align with their requirements.
• Address customer concerns and issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
• Prepare regular sales reports, including sales activity, customer feedback, and Process in Industrial Automation market trends analysis.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and participate in the annual budgeting process.
4. Industry Knowledge and Product Expertise:
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies related to the Discrete Automation Group - including fluid power, pneumatics, motion control, feeding & handling solutions. Key brands include ASCO.
• Collaborate with the IA Business Manager to align new product development with evolving market needs and technology demands
• Develop a deep understanding of Discrete Automation Group’s product portfolio supporting Industrial Automation Industries such as automotive, packaging, special machinery, transportation and medical automation.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing the value proposition of Emerson's products and solutions.
5. Other tasks assigned by line manager or company.
Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industrial sales experience
2. Relevant years of proven Industrial experience commensurate with the level of this position.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Strong interpersonal & negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust and close deals.
5. Proven understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word, Excel and Power Point.
6. Technical proficiency with the ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems.
7. The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
8. Valid driver's license.
9. Ability to travel frequently with overnight and extended travel days within the assigned territory.
10. Occupational Health and safety acumen.
